This lovely chair was quietly calling my name at Goodwill and I just couldn't resist. I have been searching for a refinishing project and I this chair is perfect. I love the shape of it. And you can't beat the price: I am so excited to distress and paint it some fun color... yellow? Or maybe a perfect shade of turquoise. Bring on the sandpaper.
Yes it's true I found these at Target in the toddler section. I think they are really cute and since my daughter's hair is not quite long enough for a full on pony tail, I guess I better keep them for me. I thought they would a great little project for me to figure out how to make these too. Same concept as the headband but on a pony holder. The shape of the cutouts don't really look like hearts though... I am thinking they are more like flower pedals. I better get to work on this!
